Can we talk about “letting go” for a moment.
This was such a big thing for me on my fitness journey. “Letting go of the past allows you to open the door for the future”… isn’t that the line?
However, as true as that is… I didn’t feel that was the answer… for me anyways.
The past taught me a lot of things, and till this day I continue to learn from it. The past shaped me. It was a chapter of my life. Now it was
time to turn the pages… let go… and begin writing the next chapter. I was ready for this. I was ready to learn about me again.
It’s amazing how soon we forget. The days, weeks, months… sometimes years go by… and we have forgotten to connect with ourselves.
Have a “check-in” so to speak. I didn’t realize the importance of that… to really look inside and understand what was going on with plain ole me!
Like I had mentioned in the first post of the Self Love Project, falling in love with every ounce of who you are is incredible.
Being able to drop your guard and kick any hesitation of your self worth in the buttocks… and say “YES! I AM here… and I DO EXIST… I WILL exist, right NOW”.
Whatever you decide to do to, make this time worth it. YOU are worth it.
Set goals and crush them with your new found confidence that you’re feeding each day. I am not going to sit here and say that this is always going to be a positive process, but learn from the hard times and the frustration. Use this as your fuel to first master and then surrender the past.
Understand you are worth it… every step of the way.
Love yourself, allow yourself to be open, connect with the skin that you’re in.
This is what Prt. 2 of the Self Love Project is all about.
Letting go, be a bad a$$ and owning the heck outta Y-O-U!!!…
