This blog post has been weighing on me forever.
I think that I hit the backspace button 549856126546423 times.
But?! Here we are! So I say, lets go with it!

I have had quite the inquires about newborn sessions… which makes me freaking pumped that my past + new clients are popping out mini-me’s!!!!!
Lets start off with this. I love babies.
They are totally awesome, and we both follow the same sleep patterns…. But when a potential client asks if I shoot newborns in those super cute outfits that resemble pea pods and pose them in the infamous Anne Geddes style, I feel like such a letdown when I tell them I do not shoot in that style.
Photographers who have mastered that style of newborn photography are simply this… Amazing.
The dedication it takes is simply breath-taking, and I give them the utmost respect for their brilliant art.

I am a lifestyle artist. I am in love with everything detail, and like to photograph them to help tell a story.
I love the raw organic feel of my environment, that reveals itself in my frames. Untouched piles of clothes in your living-room, baby blankets slung over sofas, and grandma’s knitted hat.
Documenting life as it is… or as it was.
